What can I expect out of this qualification?
Graduates of the Master of Pharmacy Practice will be eligible to apply for registration as an Intern Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand, Te Pou Whakamana Kaimatu o Aotearoa. Upon completion of an approved Intern Training Programme and achieving a pass in the Pharmacy Council Assessment Centre, graduates will be eligible to apply for registration as a Pharmacist. Graduates will be well prepared for further postgraduate studies in pharmacy and other related areas. For clarity, they will need to complete a subsequent research Master's degree before progressing to doctoral study.

Minimum requirements
Bachelors degree in a relevant subject with at least a B grade average across the 300 level papers or equivalent, and by selection process to ensure admission criteria is met by the University, and for registration to the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand.
