About the course

What can I expect out of this qualification?

Graduates of the Bachelor of Midwifery will be eligible to apply for registration with the NZ Midwifery Council and will be well-prepared to practice both in the community as case-loading midwives or in hospitals and health centres as employed midwives. They will have acquired the knowledge and skills needed to meet the standards of competence to practice within the Midwifery Scope of Practice as well as the educational preparation to pursue postgraduate study.
