What can I expect out of this qualification?
Graduates will be able to: Critically engage with and evaluate highly specialised knowledge at the forefront of Counselling and Guidance principles, research, policy, theory and practice with particular reference to Maori approaches. Critically reflect on the significance of Te Tiriti o Waitangi for Counselling and Guidance in the unique context of Aotearoa NZ. Critically examine how issues of culture, equity, diversity, social justice and power impact Counselling and Guidance principles and practice. Critically apply Counselling and Guidance theories and approaches to case studies
