What can I expect out of this qualification?

Graduates will demonstrate self-directed and independent learning, and will be able to communicate effectively. They will demonstrate an understanding of the environment and of societys impact upon the environment. They will reflect objectively on problems and opportunities, think creatively, employ analytical skills, and develop and present clear responses to current environmental situations. They will demonstrate technical competence in assessing environmental issues and develop relevant and appropriate environmental management strategies. They will identify, evaluate, document, disseminate and employ knowledge in the context of environmental management. Graduates will have research skills, be capable of implementing research projects and writing theses.
