English for Upper Intermediate Learners (Micro-credential)

Entry Requirements Domestic Learners:
- Applicants must be at least 16 years old to enrol in this micro-credential.

International Learners:
- Applicants must hold a valid visa and provide evidence of appropriate travel and medical insurance.
- Learners must be at least 14 years old

Placement Test:
- All learners, domestic and international, will undertake an English proficiency test prior to class assignment. This ensures learners are placed in the level that best suits their current language skills and learning needs.

What can I expect out of this qualification?

This micro-credential is designed to enhance and expand learners' English language skills, focusing on listening, speaking, reading, and writing at the B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Utilising the Headway 5th Edition Upper-Intermediate Student's Book and supplementary materials, students will engage with contemporary topics and real-life contexts, fostering both language competence and critical thinking.
