About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
The overall aim of this micro-credential is to provide the meat processing sector with individuals who hold the skills and knowledge to operate and monitor rendering equipment and associated processes. This includes implementing corrective process variations and complying with manufacturer and workplace requirements.
This aim is achieved by supporting ākonga with both on-job and off-job learning, allowing learning to be applied in a practical way, across a range of situations, within the learner's role in the workplace.
