- te whakawhiwhi ki tētahi o ēnei e whai ake nei
- he Tohu Paetahi, me te kaupapa matua o tērā tohu ko te reo Māori
- tētahi atu anō, Tohu Paetahi, i roto i te reo Māori;
- kua tutuki i a ia tētahi Tohu Pūkairua Tāura mō roto i te reo Māori, ko tētahi tohu taurite rānei;
- kua 5 tau neke atu rānei, te roanga o tāna ako, o tāna noho ā-oranga, o tāna
mahi ā-oranga rānei, ko te reo Māori te kaupapa matua o ēnei taiao.

Ko ngā ākonga tōtika, ko ngā ākonga arotau hoki, ki te whakauru, ki te ako, ki te whakaako hoki, i roto i tēnei Tohu Paerua Toitupu, Tāporo Reo Māori. Ko ēnā kua eke ake ki ēnei momo taumata:
Kua whakawhiwhia te ākonga ki tana Tohu Paetahi Ako/Mātauranga rānei, me te nuinga, te katoa rānei, o āna marautanga ako - marautanga mātauranga, i akohia, i whakaakohia, i roto i te reo Māori anake.

1. Kua kounga, kua teitei, kua kairangi te nuinga, te katoa rānei o ngā taumata o āna whiwhinga, i roto i tāna momo Tohu Paetahi.

2. Me mārama, me mōhio, me matatau ki ngā reo Māori o te Ao Māori: Te reo ōkawa, te reo ōkarakia, te reo ōpaki, te reo ōao.
Me whakauiui te ākonga i te tuatahi;
- ā-whaikōrero, ā-pepeha
- ā-kaupapa matua (māna e whakarite)
- ā-moemoeā, ā-wawata, ā tumanako
- ā-whāinga paetae

What can I expect out of this qualification?

E whai ana tēnei Tohu Paerua:

- Ki te whakawhanake i te matatau ki te reo Māori kia āhei ngā ākonga ki te kōrero Māori, ki te tuhi Māori kia wahapū tōnu, ahakoa te matatini o ngā horopaki, pērā i te mātauranga, i te ngaiotanga i roto ngā aronga o te ao Māori.

- Ki te whakatītina i te aroā rētōtanga me ngā whakaaro maioha ki ngā tikanga Māori, ki ngā āhuatanga Māori e tūāpapa ana mā te reo Māori.

- Ki te tūhura me te arohaehae i ngā pūnaha o ngā mātauranga Māori taketake, kua tangata whenua i roto i te reo Māori, arā ngā mātauranga Māori, ngā whakapapa Māori, ngā tikanga Māori, te mātauranga hinengaro e whakarauora ana, e whakamana ana, i te tūturutanga o ngā akoranga ā-iwi taketake.

- Ki te whakangungu i te tauira ki ngā pūkenga rangahau, ki ngā rautaki pū, ki te whakahaere pakirehua whakaioio, hai whakamōhio kia kōkiri whakamua te reo Māori me te huaki mai i ngā whakaritenga hou, ngā tirohanga hou, me te mōhio tonu ki te reo Māori mā te huarahi o te rangahau.

- Te whakarauora i te reo Māori: Te āwhina, te hiki, te hāpai i te whakarauoratanga, i te tiakitanga, i te kōkiritanga o te reo Māori, hai reo ora rawa atu - ki te whakanui, ki te whakamana hoki i ngā ākonga hai kaitaunaki, hai pouako, hai māngai mō te whakarauora i te reo i roto i ō rātau hapori, ā, ki tua atu.

- Te atawhai pūkenga kaiārahitanga me ngā āheitanga ki te tautoko nui tonu i te whakarauoratanga o te reo Māori

- Te tautoko i ngā ākonga i roto i ō rātau whanaketanga ngaio, me ā rātau huarahi ānamata, i roto i te: Mātauranga Reo Māori rangahau, kaupapa here, kōkiritanga māngai pāoho me ētahi atu ara e taurite ana, e whakawātea ana ngā kōwhiringa mō te kaiwhakaruruhau, te kaikōtuitui me te whakatinana i āna wheako.
