Entry requirements
To be eligible for entry, learners must be in an employed arrangement, in a role that enables them to provide the evidence required to achieve the graduate profile outcome(s).
The employer and learner, in conjunction with the Tertiary Education Organisation (TEO) must complete a training agreement.
* Candidates must have achieved a National Certificate in Educational Achievement (NCEA) (Level 2) with Mathematics and English, hold an equivalent qualification or, be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills.

What can I expect out of this qualification?
This micro-credential focuses on developing knowledge and practical skills for working safely on worksites while completing data cabling tasks. It equips learners to competently manage cable pathways, handling the installation of unsupported data cables within walls, ensuring optimal functionality and safety in commercial environments. Learners will gain an understanding of industry best practices, safety protocols and risk management techniques that align with New Zealand's regulatory standards including AS/NZS 11801, ensuring that installations meet both functional and safety requirements.
