This micro-credential is designed for those who are currently working in the tourism and hospitality sector.

Domestic Applicants:
Open entry to applicants aged 17 years and over residing in New Zealand, including those in employment and those on working visas.

About the course

What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this micro-credential is to enable learners to identify and discuss sustainable practices and how these can be applied to support an organisation's regenerative tourism strategy. It aims to enhance the professional capabilities of tourism and hospitality employees by applying sustainable practices, including following the Tiaki Promise to ensure a holistic approach to regenerative tourism in Aotearoa.

On successful completion of this course, learners will be able to discuss regenerative tourism concepts and strategies, equipping them to implement sustainable practices for a tourism or hospitality business.
