About the course

What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of Te Waha Kōrero (Level 6) micro-credential is to develop and further accelerate confidence and proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing te reo Māori, shaped through a te ao Māori lens. This is achieved by enabling ākonga to critique opinions in arguments using te reo Māori. Ākonga will create and apply contextualised reo Māori phrases across diverse settings, to engage critically in te reo Māori, by enhancing communication skills and cultural understanding within te ao Māori, with emphasis on an ōpaki context.
