Entry requirements

Entry Requirements:
* Be employed, self-employed or seeking employment in an organisation.

English Language Requirements:
* English is your first language, OR
* Te reo Māori is your first language and English is your second language; OR
* Successfully completed 3 years secondary education when English was the primary language of delivery; OR
* Successfully completed an NZQA level 3 study, or equivalent, in any programme when English was the primary language of delivery; OR
* Successfully attained an IELTS score of 5.5 with no band below 5 or an equivalent test.

Entry criteria is open and is intended to enable a barrier-free entry, particularly Māori, Pasifika or those with a learning or other disability. NZIE provides learning and guidance support for those who present to and are accepted into the micro-credential but do not hold prior educational experience at level 3 or higher.

What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of the Certificate in AI Marketing Practice (Micro-credential) (Level 5, 7 credits) is to provide digital marketing agencies and organisations (including self-employed organisations) with graduates with the specific skills and knowledge to employ AI technologies to assist and inform marketing practices.

This course will enable the learner to employ artificial intelligence tools and techniques to enhance human talent in the creation of and performance reporting of marketing assets.

A graduate will be able to seek employment or be employed (including self-employed) within digital marketing agencies or organisations that manage digital marketing activities or be self-employed and be able to manage their own. Graduates successfully completing this micro-credential may enter further digital marketing study at certificate or diploma level, subject to specified entry criteria.
