Entry requirements

Introduction to Aromatherapy Micro-credential (Level 3) or equiv. Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Applicants must be able to communicate competently in English. International students or residents whose first language is neither English nor Māori must have minimum overall IELTS score of 5.5 with no band lower than 5.0 or equivalent evidence of suitability for the programme.

What can I expect out of this qualification?

This micro-credential introduces students/employees to aroma science/aromatherapy in the
context of complementary therapies for health and wellbeing, support, and care.

Students will be able to understand specialised knowledge in essential oil science within a
framework of health and wellness in Aotearoa New Zealand.
