What can I expect out of this qualification?

The proposed micro-credential provides ākonga the opportunity and guidance to develop and justify their research strategy. This high-level oversight requires a holistic understanding of the field and the ability to envision the direction of the field is moving into, how it is contributing to
current societal challenges and how their research contributes to this within a timeframe. Graduates of the Developing a Comprehensive Research Strategy Micro-credential will be able to frame their research questions, determine appropriate research methodologies while considering Te Tiriti o Waitangi in their research strategy, and capture this in a short compelling research statement. Ākonga will critically review a range of research components and utilise them to formulate a sound research plan and implementation strategy in their own specialised field, and to summarise this vision.
