Entry to the Introduction to the New Zealand Forestry Sector micro-credential, including English language and academic requirements, will be in accordance the criteria specified in the Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology regulatory framework, and relevant quality management system (QMS) policies and processes.
For domestic applicants for whom English is not their first language, evidence of language competency may be required. International students can enroll as part of a directive from their workplace if they have a work visa as a short academic programme of directed 24 hours is allowed for this category of student.

What can I expect out of this qualification?

The aim of this course is for students to be introduced to key elements of the New Zealand forestry sector, evaluate their role as participants and identify factors currently affecting the industry.
