Entry requirements

It is recommended that candidates complete introductory applicator training prior to entering a programme that leads to the award of this qualification.

Programmes leading towards the achievement of this qualification must comply with NZS 8409:2004 Management of Agrichemicals.

What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the agrichemical industry with people who have the technical skills and knowledge to apply agrichemicals and work unsupervised in the agrichemical application industry.

The qualification includes strands that recognise specialist knowledge and practical skills relating to agrichemical application in various contexts.
