The Graduate Diploma in Creative Advertising addresses industry demand for skills that encompass creative advertising, particularly creative thinking tools enhanced by effective and well-developed craft skills of art direction and copywriting as applied across a variety of static and dynamic media, including new and emerging technologies and platforms. The programme caters to current market trends, while future-proofing graduates' careers. The programme also embeds Ethics and Social Responsibility throughout, adding highly desired skills to the profession of advertising, which are increasingly the mainstay of the profession.

Minimum requirements

To be admitted into the Graduate Diploma in Creative Advertising (Level 7) students must meet the following entry requirements: * They must have a Bachelor's degree; * Alternatively, applicants must be able to evidence equivalent work experience. Admission task - All students are required to complete a simple admission task that is designed to test for flexibility of thought, and dexterity of visual and written communication. This task is particularly pertinent for students whose undergraduate qualification is in an unrelated field. Interview - On the successful completion of the admission task an interview with the Programme Director is required in which important aspects of the applied nature of the programme are outlined to prospective students including the need to work in creative teams of copywriter and art director; the simulated creative department setting and hours; and the organisation of learning around live briefs and competitions.
