Civil Aviation Rules Part 1, Part 12, Part 61, Part 67, Part 71, Part 91, Part 92, Part 93, Part 119, Part 135, Part 125, Part 121, and Part 137.

What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the General Aviation sector of the aviation industry with graduates who have attained sufficient operational and theoretical knowledge and practical skills to operate small single or multi-engine aircraft as commercial pilots independently or with another pilot, and/or associated support staff in flight planning and aircraft operations.
This qualification is suitable for people seeking to gain a private pilot licence and commercial pilot licence, or those who already hold a private pilot licence.
The qualification has two elective strands for pilots to specialise in flying either small single or multi-engine aeroplanes, or helicopters.
Graduates will meet the eligibility requirements to operate as commercial pilots, including the privileges of the private pilot licence, under the appropriate Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand (CAANZ) rules for General Aviation.
