What can I expect out of this qualification?
This qualification is intended for learners who are seeking to develop a range of essential skills and knowledge in the skin care, beauty and related industries.
These sectors will benefit by having access to graduates with the skills and knowledge to competently and safely undertake a range of essential skin care and make-up services within workplaces where skin care, make-up and other cosmetics products are applied and sold.
Graduates of this qualification will have developed practical application of knowledge and skills in preparation for further study but will also be capable of working with initial supervision in a skin care and beauty context.

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
To be admitted to this qualification all applicants must meet the following requirements: a) Meet Hair to Train's English language entry requirements b) Be at least 16 years of age on the date of the programme's commencement c) Be able to demonstrate they have the attitudes and ability to work and study at the level required for the programme (including a positive attitude and a strong interest in hairdressing, beauty, fashion and/or retail) d) Be physically capable of completing the practical aspects of the programme (Individual needs will be assessed by the General Manager and compared with the demands of the programme) e) Participate in an interview process during which the above attributes will be assessed (see Selection clause) f) Meet the additional admission requirements under one of the following provisions: General Admission
