About the course

What can I expect out of this qualification?

This qualification will provide New Zealand with individuals who are able to officiate at competitions within a specified code or sport.
Graduates can apply their sport specific knowledge and officiating skills to officiate at sport competitions.
Graduates will contribute to the health, cultural, social and economic wellbeing of Aotearoa New Zealand.

Minimum requirements

6.2 Pro Sport & Programme Entry Requirements a. Students applying for the Pro Sport and Programme/s are ideally connected to their sport and active participants with a desire to use this as a vehicle to further involvement in their sport or a sport related industry employment role in the future, an educational pathway to further study or pathway to trade or other related long term sustainable employment. b. This Programme/s are open entry and all students will be considered on an individual basis. c. Students are required to be NZ Citizen or resident d. Students will ideally be aged 16-20 years of age. e. Students academic and pastoral records will be considered when making application to support their achievement potential in the programme. f. Pro Sport is not currently eligible to enrol International Students.
