What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the yacht industry with people who have the knowledge and skills to work unsupervised as yacht riggers, spar makers, or sail makers.
This qualification is for individuals who are intending to work or who are working with yacht rig structures.

Minimum requirements
General requirements applicant must be employed in the composite industry. minimum of 16 years of age attained NCEA Level 2 or must be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills NZ citizen, resident visa, or work visa English language requirements Applicant whose first language is not English, required to provide any of the following: evidence of successful completion of at least five years of secondary education from a country where the student was taught using English as medium of instruction successful completion of vocational certificate or diploma, of which the medium of instruction taught in English. IELTS at least 5.0 overall score or equivalent
