What can I expect out of this qualification?
This qualification provides the automotive industry with individuals who can service general automotive systems.
The qualification is designed for people who are beginning a career in the automotive industry or people intending to enter the industry.
Graduates will benefit by having a qualification which recognises the skills and knowledge in the automotive industry that support improved job performance and enhance future learning and employment opportunities.
Graduates of this qualification will be able to work in entry-level positions under limited supervision.

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
Motor Industry qualification at Level 2, including NCEA Level 2 Vocational Pathway in Manufacturing and Technology sector or equivalent knowledge and skills as preferred. All applicants must be 16 years of age or over and be able to demonstrate that their Literacy and Numeracy levels show a readiness to succeed in this course. Applicants are also required to show a readiness or interest in the automotive trades area.
