What can I expect out of this qualification?

This qualification is for people who want to develop a broad understanding of tikanga in a specialist field founded on a Māori worldview.
Graduates of this qualification will have a broad range of knowledge and skills to support and participate in the practice of tikanga under limited supervision.
Graduates of this qualification will be able perform and apply knowledge fundamental to tikanga practices across the community in general.

*NZ Certificate of Rongoa Maori L3 is a pre-requisite; *Be at least 16 years of age and be a citizen or permanent resident of NZ; *Be able to read, write, and communicate in English at a proficient level; *Some knowledge of te reo mo nga tikanga Maori is desirable but not essential.
