What can I expect out of this qualification?
This qualification provides the collision repair and automotive refinishing industry with individuals who have attained the fundamental knowledge and skills required to work as removers/refitters of vehicle components, and/or refinishing preparers.
The qualification is designed for people who are beginning a career in the industry.
Graduates will be able to work under limited supervision.

Minimum requirements
Academic NCEA Level 1 English Language (for international students) either: * achieved the academic entry requirement in New Zealand or at an institution where English was the language of Instruction and assessment Or: * Achieved a minimum score of IELTS 5 (Academic) with no band score lower than 5, or equivalent. Other * Physical capability to complete the programme. * Basic computing skills. * Working towards a class 1 driver's licence. Special entry An applicant who does not meet all entry requirements may be granted where the Head of School responsible for the programme is satisfied the applicant is capable of undertaking the programme
