What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the retail meat industry with people who have the skills and knowledge to prepare and pack meat products for retail sale under limited supervision.
Graduates will understand food safety legislation relevant to the sale of meat products and will be able to contribute to efficiency and productivity in a butchery operation.
