What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide the aeronautical engineering industry with graduates who have gained knowledge and skills in the specialist role of aeronautical storekeeping. They can work with aviation parts and materials which require evidence of authenticity and traceability to the manufacturer prior to their release for use on aircraft, required for an operator working under either, the New Zealand Defence Force Airworthiness Policy, or Part 19 F, Part 145, Part 146, and/or Part 148 Rules and the Civil Aviation Act 1990.
This qualification is intended for learners who are planning to embark on a career in the aviation industry as an aeronautical storekeeper.
Graduates will be capable of carrying out storekeeping duties specifically in an aeronautical engineering workplace under limited supervision.
