What can I expect out of this qualification?
This qualification is for people who wish to work with whānau in the development of a whanau-centred approach that supports whānau wellbeing.
The purpose of this qualification is to provide graduates with a range of knowledge, skills and experiences in mātauranga Māori wellbeing approaches.
Graduates of this qualification will be able to under limited supervision apply knowledge of Māori philosophies and theories of Māori wellbeing for a range of whānau ora contexts.

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
Caps: No more than 18 tauira enrolled in the face-to-face class. No cap on distance learning numbers. Priority: Evidence of previous learning and/or experience which demonstrates a genuine interest in this programme. Waitlist: Where applicant numbers exceed the number of places available a waitlist will be established, and applicants will be selected on a first come first served basis when spaces become available. Admission: Admission is subject to the approval of the Tumuaki.
