What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide people with the skills, capabilities, knowledge and attributes needed to progress and succeed in their field of study or employment pathway.
This qualification is for people intending to pursue further qualifications in their chosen field of study or employment pathway at New Zealand Qualifications Framework Level 4 or above.
The qualification acknowledges the primacy of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in programme design and delivery.

Minimum requirements
In addition to meeting admission requirements, entry is open to applicants and who may meet the English Proficiency Outcomes in accordance with the NZQF Programme Approval and Accreditation Rules 2013. If ones first language is not English or who come from a country where the language of instruction is not English and are enrolling as a permanent or an international student. It is expected that: -Applicants have a desire to pursue a specific career or further study in a particular area. -Applicants may be required to attend and interview, or if one lives at some distance from Te Whare Wananga o Awanuiarangi campuses, complete a telephone interview or through e-conferencing is available.
