What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is to provide people with the skills, capabilities, knowledge and attributes needed to progress and succeed in their field of study or employment pathway.

This qualification is for people intending to pursue further qualifications in their chosen field of study or employment pathway at New Zealand Qualifications Framework Level 4 or above.

The qualification acknowledges the primacy of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in programme design and delivery.

Minimum requirements

Academic Criteria * Hold a qualification at NZQCF Level 2 or equivalent. English Language Criteria * Domestic students with ESOL must be proficient in English language This may require an LN entry evaluation to confirm language comprehension.. Health & Safety * Interview confirming health status and ability to participate in required exercise/swim components of the programme. Admissions Processes: Where a domestic student does not appear fluent in English (i.e., able to speak or understand easily in English, without a lot of pauses, they will be required to complete the LN entry evaluation to confirm language comprehension. Additional for International Applicants: English Language: General or Academic score of 5 with no band score lower than 5 OR equivalent under Rule 18. Can only enrol in face-to-face delivery option to meet visa requirements Additional requirements for distance applicants: * A comfortable chair * Suitable device for online learning
