What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide people with the academic skills, capabilities, knowledge and attributes needed to prepare for higher level education or employment.
This qualification is for people intending to pursue further qualifications in their chosen field of study or employment pathway at New Zealand Qualifications Framework Level 5 or above.
The qualification acknowledges the primacy of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in programme design and delivery.

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
4 years secondary education with a minimum of 12 NCEA credits at Level 1 in at least 2 secondary subjects (Including English); or Equivalent skills and knowledge. In addition, international applicants must meet the minimum English Language entry requirements of NZCEL Level 3 (General, Workplace or Academic), IELTS 5.5 with no band score lower than 5
