What can I expect out of this qualification?
This qualification is intended for individuals who, working with existing assessment materials, undertake the assessment of learners that leads to an award in the adult and tertiary education sector.
Graduates will have the skills and knowledge to undertake assessment in various environments including within industry or workplaces and/or with youth in their transition from school to work.
This qualification may contribute to professional requirements for registration as a workplace assessor.

Minimum requirements
Open Entry Domestic Language Entry Requirements If English or Maori is not the applicant's first language, applicants will need an IELTS (General or Academic) score of 5.5 with no band score lower than 5, or equivalent. International English Language Entry Requirements International applicants will need an IELTS (General or Academic) score of 5.5 with no band score lower than 5, or equivalent. Other Entry Requirements Applicants require access to a workplace or youth setting. Applicants working with learners 18 years and under require a safety check to comply with the requirements of the Vulnerable Children Act 2014. This programme is based on practising in a New Zealand context.
