What can I expect out of this qualification?

This qualification is intended for educators and trainers in the adult and tertiary education sector who want to specialise in applying education technologies to improve teaching practice and learner outcomes.

Graduates of this qualification will be able to apply theories and processes of technology-enhanced learning and teaching, enhance their own practice, assist others in integrating education technologies, and work towards leadership roles in technology-enhanced learning and teaching.

Minimum requirements

Academic Entry Requirements: Open entry English Entry Requirements: If English is the not the applicant's first language, candidates will need an IELTS (Academic) score of 6 with no band score lower than 5.5, or equivalent. Other Admission Requirements: Candidates must have access to an authentic teaching or training context and may be asked to provide evidence of work experience. Note: Authentic refers to a wide variety of possible cultural and educational contexts. Where candidates are undertaking practical experience with learners 18 years and under a safety check is required to comply with the requirements of the Vulnerable Children Act 2014. This programme is based on practising in a New Zealand context.
