This qualification is for ākonga/learners who are seeking to develop broad technical skills and conceptual knowledge in animation creative practice.
A range of industries will benefit from graduates who possess animation creation capabilities.
Graduates will be able to operate independently within creative and commercial environments.

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
Legal entitlement to study in New Zealand with appropriate immigration and/or refugee status, and When English is not the first language of the student - Have an English equivalent of academic IELTS 5.5 with no band less than 5.0 or equivalent; or other acceptable evidence of English language proficiency, where applicable, as set out in the NZQA Programme Approval and Accreditation Rules. Prior to enrolment, candidates must have completed a Level 5 qualification in the same or related field, or demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills through a portfolio that demonstrates advanced digital animation skills.
