What can I expect out of this qualification?
This qualification is designed for ākonga/learners who wish to develop a range of foundational technical skills and conceptual knowledge in fashion design creative practice.
Graduates of this qualification will have developed a limited range of creative capabilities to allow them to contribute to community or commercial projects in preparation for further study.
Graduates will be able to operate independently under broad guidance.

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
Academic Requirements: 40 credits NCEA Level 1, including 10 literacy credits and 10 numeracy credits Additional Requirements: Applicants must supply a 300 word statement expressing their interest in working within the Fashion Industry. Applicants may also be required to attend an interview. English language Requirements: IEL TS 6.0 Academic (no lower than 6.0 in any subtest).
