What can I expect out of this qualification?
This qualification is designed for ākonga/learners who are seeking to develop a range of introductory technical skills and conceptual knowledge in arts, crafts or design contexts.
Graduates of this qualification will have developed practical application of knowledge and skills in preparation for further study.
Graduates will be able to operate under limited supervision.

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
The programme is available for domestic students aged 16 years or older; and who hold a Level 2 qualification in Arts and Design, or NCEA (Level 2). Prospective students without a qualification can contact the school to discuss other options to demonstrate equivalent skills and knowledge. Applicants will participate in an interview, and are encouraged to bring samples of their work. Enrolment is subject to approval of the Academic Manager.
