About the course

What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is to provide Aotearoa New Zealand with people who have business administration and technology skills to work in a range of office administration roles.

Graduates of this qualification will be able to apply business technologies to perform a wide range of administrative duties and tasks under broad guidance, in accordance with ngā kaupapa o te Tiriti o Waitangi (the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi), and in a multi-cultural environment.

Entry Requirements

Minimum requirements

NCEA Level 2, or a Level 3 qualification, or equivalent skills, education or work experiences to meet academic requirements, and English language competency where English is not a first language. Additional Requirements For international applicants who come from non-English speaking backgrounds, an IELTS General or Academic score of 5.0 with no band score lower than 5.0, or an equivalent relevant English Proficiency Outcome as outlined in NZQF-related rules (Rule 18). For domestic applicants for whom English is not their first language, evidence of language competency may be required.
