What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide Aotearoa New Zealand with people who have the knowledge and skills to establish, operate, grow, and sustain a small business.
Graduates of this qualification will be able to apply business skills and knowledge to a small business, in accordance with ngā kaupapa o te Tiriti o Waitangi (the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi), and in a multi-cultural environment.

Minimum requirements
NCEA Level 2 (including 10 literacy credits at Level 2 and 10numeracy at Level 1 or equivalent OR New Zealand Certificate in Business (Introduction to small business) L3. IELTS (or equivalent TOEFL) General or academic level 5.5 with no band lower than 5.
