About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this qualification is to provide Aotearoa New Zealand with people who can carry out a broad range of accounting support services to work in a range of accounting support roles to support a business entity's objectives.
Graduates of this qualification will be able to provide accounting support services under broad guidance, in accordance with ngā kaupapa o te Tiriti o Waitangi (the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi), and in a multi-cultural environment.

Entry Requirements
Minimum requirements
40 credits at NCEA Level 1, including 10 Literacy credits and 10 Numeracy credits, or a relevant qualification at NZQF Level 2, or a recognised equivalent. Special and Discretionary admission are also available. International applicants are required to have an IELTS score of 5.5 (general or academic) with no individual band lower than 5 from one test taken in the preceding two years, or meet a relevant English Proficiency Outcome as outlined by NZQA Rules.?
