What can I expect out of this qualification?
This qualification is intended for individuals who have recently begun working in the pest operations industry or who wish to enter the pest operations industry.
It recognises the skills and knowledge of individuals who can carry out pest control operations safely, under limited supervision, and in different environments for the purposes of biosecurity, conservation, and public health and enjoyment.
The qualification includes strands that recognise the distinct skills and knowledge required to carry out pest operations in either rural or urban environments.

Minimum requirements
All applicants must: Be 16 years old at the time the programme commences; Be able to read, write, and communicate in English at a basic level; Be physically able to complete the programme specific outcomes. Applicants for whom English is not a first language must have an IELTS general or academic score of 5 with no band score lower than 5; or an accepted international equivalence.
