What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is to provide process industries with individuals who can apply the required Industrial Measurement and Control (IMC) knowledge and practical skills to operate safely and competently in industrial environments.

This qualification is also suitable for individuals who intend to advance their practical electrical or mechanical engineering skills at an industrial level.

Graduates will be capable of operating as an instrumentation technician under limited supervision and with self-management of their own learning and performance.
