Candidates enrolled in the Electrical Works or Wind Farm strands require an Electrical Workers' Registration Board Trainee Limited Certificate when commencing the programme.

What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the Electricity Supply industry with people who have sufficient knowledge and ability to work safely in the industry at entry level under direct supervision. The qualification includes strands that reflect the diverse areas within which a person may work within Electricity Supply.

This is a foundation qualification that is suitable for all entrants to the industry whether they intend to work in trades or in an administrative capacity within the Electricity Supply industry.
