What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is:

- to provide competent employees for the catering services sector who are able to work as basic caterers in various facilities, venues and businesses
- to provide for those individuals who are employed as service personnel in the catering services sector, a credential that will support their employment opportunities across a range of establishments in the hospitality sector
