What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the pharmacy sector with people that can work in a non-dispensing support role within a pharmacy and support the provision of safe, patient-centred healthcare under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Minimum requirements

Domestic students: Must have: 8 credits at NCEA Level 1 in English (4 in reading, 4 in writing) Have a minimum of 3 years secondary education Be at least 16 years old by the time the programme begins OR For applicants 20 years of age and over there are no minimum academic requirements.
