What can I expect out of this qualification?

The purpose of this qualification is to provide the urban fire and rescue industry with personnel that have the knowledge and skills required to carry out a wide range of fire and rescue tasks.
Graduates will be able to contribute to a number of functions within an urban fire and rescue team, under limited supervision from a crew leader.
